Instructions for using the search bar in the Mainline Theme:

You can visit the RapidSearch page at JoshLockhart.com to learn about how to set up your actual RapidSearch page. This page is just meant to show you how to use the search bar in the Mainline theme.

You will need to have the RapidSearch plugin from JoshLockhart.com

NOTICE: YOU WILL NOT SEE ANY SEARCH RESULTS ON YOUR PAGE UNTIL GOOGLE HAS INDEXED YOUR SITE ... THIS USUALLY TAKE ABOUT 3-4 DAYS AFTER YOU HVE PUBLISHED YOUT SITE TO THE WEB

Step 1

After installing RapidSearch you will want to add a RapidSearch page to your website. Make sure to add the RapidSearch page to the top level of your site and not a sub level.
After adding the RapidSearch page to the top level of your site you will want to open the Page Inspector and click on the "General" tab to reveal the "general Settings"
Next you will want to look for the line that says "Folder" and insert "rapidsearch" (Note the image below) and in the field that says "Filename" you will want to enter "index.html" (Note the image below)

Step 2

Thats it ... there is no "Step 2"
Publish your site and now your search bar will work
